Corydoras are not algae eaters and will not keep the gl clean in any way. Plecos are great algae eaters in some cases, I don't know where you got your information. The problem with plecos is that they have a huge variety of species, and new ones are being discovered all the time. Some grow to 4' and some grow to about 1 1/4", which covers just about any sized tank you could own. Some don't eat algae at all and some will work better than windex (I'm kidding, don't use windex on your tank). For a tank that is 4' or shorter, a bristlenose L144 pleco will work wonders in most cases. Rubbernose plecos are another favorite algae eater. Both of these fish stop growing between 4-6". Otocinclus are great for 10 gallon tanks, because they only grow to 1 1/4" or so. Another option is the Chinese algae eater. They can grow to 7" or larger and are often aggressive when they are adults. Either way, you will need to suppliment their diet with algae wafers because they will not allow the algae to grow enough to keep them fed. Also, keep a piece of driftwood in the tank, they need it to properly digest their food. I hope this helps, email me if you have any questions.

Does God really need us?

I have two abscessed teeth..got meds..but STILL in pain..what should i do?

Ok, so i went to my dentist bc my two teeth hurt SO bad i cant even chew on that side. So i went and he took xrays and said i have two SEVERLY abscessed teeth and gave me antibiotics and a script for pain pills. This was tuesday and today is sunday and i have 5 pain pills left the script had 24 in it and calls for one every 4 hrs. which i have been doing....ive been taking the antibiotics too but the pain wont go away. Should i call and see if he can call me in a stronger dose of the pain pills or not bug them? My appointment to get them pulled isnt until MAY! So should i call and explain to them it isnt working or deal with the pain? They gave me a script for hydrocodone 5, 500 mg. Idk i cant handle tooth pain thats for sure, and they know how much pain i am in. The dentist told me he dont know how ive handled it this long..would they think im lying if i called and asked, bc im truely not. I just want the pain to GO AWAY! Okay so, I just had unprotected with my boyfriend for the first time on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I had just finished my period about 3 days earlier and am on birth control and have been for 6 months. Im obsessive about taking it at the same time every single day - straight up OCD about taking it. However, with the type of birth control Im on and with my very very stressful lifestyle, I have had little to no periods those months - not worried cuz I wasnt having . Then this month I get a little heavier bleeding on the placebo pill days Now, its two days later after we had and I have some bleeding - not brown, but red. And not alot just when I wipe mostly. Im paranoid that I did something wrong and now I am pregnant. That having a really bad cold lessened the effectiveness of the pill - i was not on antibodics either. Am I worrying too much, and could this just be breakthrough bleeding that my body never got a chance to experience since I have been so stressed?? PLEASE HELP!!

If you're on birth control, used a condom during , AND are experiencing bleeding, I seriously doubt that you are pregnant. It is called breakthrough bleeding and should not last too long- certainly not as long as a normal period. I guess you should check with a pregnancy test because there is always that slight possibility that you are, and to be honest, you probably won't stop worrying until you get a true answer. Don't stop your birth control, just continue taking it like you should be unless you experience other side effects that could indicate that its not working, in which case you should talk to your doctor.

What is Happening With My Blood?

Ive noticed whenever I get a cut that drips blood the blood separates into three different types of tissue. The first is clear (which I ume is white blood cells), the second is thin bright red liquid (which I ume is red blood cells and white blood cells mixed, but the third and final thing is odd. I have 3 kids and i thought that i would not be able to do it without an epidural (which i don't care what anyone says hurts like hell) on my third child i was too late to have an epidural by the time i got to the hospital and had to have her naturally, the whole process went a lot faster without it and my advice to you is to just go with what your body is telling you to do, instinct does take over and that includes your breathing, everything. Because believe me if i can do it natural any one can (i'm the biggest wimp and i'm planning baby number 4). By all means go to the antenatal cles to learn the breathing techniques, but a womans body is the best guide when in labour. Congrats on the pregnancy and best of luck

Should I switch out my guitar's pickups?

I've been dieing to get a fender strat, but they are just so expensive. But I've been thinking about buying a reeaally cheap squire strat (like $120) then buying some fender pickups and just swapping them out. Scion tc 2007 is running on low RPM?

I had my engine mount replaced by a mechanic who I trust, is very knowledgeable and always gives me a good deal. I had my engine mount replaced because in a test, the engine was moving, I also thought it had something to do with it shaking at Idle (In drive or park). But after everything was replaced, the engine was rock solid, but the car continued to shake. After a little investigating, my mechanic friend said my car was running low in the RPM at Idle,lower than normal. That's whats causing the car to shake he said. But he did say the car would be fine, but if I really wanted to check into it, I would have to get a scanner because for some reason my car doesn't have this certain switch that can switch it very easily. Getting the scanner though would be expensive, and unnecessary he said. But I wonder, has anyone else ran into this problem, and found a way to increase their Idle RPM, with the help of some sort of scanner?

SATA II hard drive bios detection problems?

ooh ooh ooh i might know this one. this thing drove me nuts for a few days. see if it reliably can detect it when rebooting, and pretty much never detects it in a cold boot. if that is true, my problem was the drive was not spinning up fast enough. so there was an option in the BIOS called HDD DELAY. meaning when detecting the hard drive, it pauses for the amount you set in the delay, giving the drive time to power up. it fixed my problem completely. good luck

Ok so last christmas eve, late at night, I was watching this movie, it was a clic black and white, I believe Ginger Rogers may have been in it but I'm not sure. I have ALWAYS thought this too! If it doesn't get your heart rate over 100 while playing it, it isn't a sport! The only real exertion or physical energy involved with golf is walking the greens (and many golfers opt to use a golf cart, eliminating any of those benefits). Best way to get this pony to canter?

Sounds like you love this pony very much. From what it sounds like and from my previous experience with similar horses you need to find what gets her the most forward going. If she is more forwards going on a hack keep askin her on a hack, if she likes jumping try getting her to canter towards the jump. This generally makes the horse understand the asking for forwardsness better as they already want to go forwards. You will have to keep practicing and practicing and that fact that she is a pony will make it harder because they have a fast trot naturally and so when you push them on they rush even more and it becomes harder to canter. What you should do is either on a straight while hacking or going towards a jump ask her and keep pushing until she breaks into it or while your on the last half of a circle just sit down and give her the canter cue, and keep pushing her forwards. When she does eventually break into the canter, allow a couple of strides, pat her then ask her to come back to trot. Even though she isnt a youngster from whaqt you have said she hasnt had much done with her riding wise but you will have to treat her in a simarly way. Hope this helps and good luck with her x

Is it possible to learn how to read really early (really quickly), but not be smart?

When I was about 4 years old, my dad taught me how to read, and i caught on really well (not comprehension, but actuall words). I have always had some trouble with math. The doctor put me on ritalin when i was 6, because i had attention problems, and did not "follow directions well." In 5th grade, my grades were AMAZING, but in 7th grade things got harder. My depression/bipolar was partly to blame, i suppose for decreased ability to learn. I am pretty much cured, but i pick up on things so slowly that it is frustrating! I am an extremely slow reader, and during my whole life (even when my grades were good), it was hard for me to read and remember/understand what i read. I finish tests so slowly, and am ALWAYS the last one finishing. Now it seems like whenever i read, the info slips out, and there is no way i can write a plot summary or composition w/o Cliff Notes or Wikipedia (i have always been this way). I do NOT daydream at all in math cl, but i always need the teacher to clarify things! i am a junior in high school, and i used to be in honors cles, until it became wayy too overwhelming. Am i not smart, but just an early mental bloomer? I am ambidextorous (meaning i use both my right and left hand), so you can get a better idea about how my brain works. Peace x0x!

Lord of the Flies OR Frankenstein?

Alright, boyfriend and I have been dating for nine months, both just graduated from high school. He has depression and social anxiety... I am basically his purpose in life. He has threatened to kill himself many times, and I am always the one thing holding him back. I'm the only thing that makes him happy. He claims he's alright and this isn't true, but I really don't believe it. He refuses to see a psychiatrist. We've been having problems for months now... I am not attentive enough, am too independent, I'm unsure about the future and my feelings are shaky... lately he has been critical of my weight (I'm 5' and 102 lbs, not overweight), he refuses to put his arm around me if he thinks I'm too squishy... I just feel very pressured. He also freaks out because I won't have with him because I want to save myself until marriage. In spite of all the issues, I promised him I would give him at least until I got into college before I broke up with him if I ever did.
