Lord of the Flies OR Frankenstein?

They are both awesome, but I liked Frankenstein just a bit more. They both have a lot to do with characters, Frankenstein is a lot different than the movies, you should read both, but if you have to pick Frankenstein. Frankenstein deals with what constitutes a monster and Lord of the Flies deals with kids trying to make a society and what happens when they don't have any authority.
