What would you do in this situation?

More specifically, is there anything that I can do in this situation? I am a (still) 28 y/o male who is single, never married and in a very strange place in my life right now. I am currently in year two of a total six year degree program and am not having any luck with dating women or finding a girlfriend. I have tried the online dating thing here in Colorado Springs without any luck. Moreover, I believe that the women don't want to have anything to do with me because I am not yet established. The reason for that is because I had to go straight into the Marine Corps right after high school unlike the majority of you reading this right now. So, I got out of the military at age 23, got a civilian job here in Colorado, got laid off, and went back to college here. What makes it especially hard is the fact that Colorado is a horrible place to be for a single, straight guy like myself. Coloradoans don't like outsiders so you are pretty much screwed in terms of dating unless you were born and raised here or are from Nebraska or Minnesota (read: Californians, Texans, and southerners need not apply). I don't have the money to "up and move" at the moment or I would go ahead and move to Austin, TX if money wasn't an issue at present. People have tried to tell me that quote "you still have plenty of time to date and get married" and they are right under ONE condition. That condition is the fact that 90% of the single women my age already have a couple of kids and are looking for a "daddy figure" for their children. I would like to someday have my OWN children and not have to accept someone else's responsibility. So, should I just go ahead and resign myself to lifelong bachelorhood at this point or are there still women in my age group who are still single and ARE NOT already a divorcee or have 2 or 3 kids?
