If i buy a house in Michigan will my property taxes be calculated with the amount i paid for it?

If i buy a house for $25k in a neighborhood with houses valued at and over $100k will i be taxed on the amount i paid for it or will a local essor see it to be worth more and set my taxable value higher than the sale price?
