I have two abscessed teeth..got meds..but STILL in pain..what should i do?

Ok, so i went to my dentist bc my two teeth hurt SO bad i cant even chew on that side. So i went and he took xrays and said i have two SEVERLY abscessed teeth and gave me antibiotics and a script for pain pills. This was tuesday and today is sunday and i have 5 pain pills left the script had 24 in it and calls for one every 4 hrs. which i have been doing....ive been taking the antibiotics too but the pain wont go away. Should i call and see if he can call me in a stronger dose of the pain pills or not bug them? My appointment to get them pulled isnt until MAY! So should i call and explain to them it isnt working or deal with the pain? They gave me a script for hydrocodone 5, 500 mg. Idk i cant handle tooth pain thats for sure, and they know how much pain i am in. The dentist told me he dont know how ive handled it this long..would they think im lying if i called and asked, bc im truely not. I just want the pain to GO AWAY! Pls give your advice, and be nice bc im not hooked on the pills i just cant handle pain.
