Once your friends with benefits is that all you two can be?

I have a friend with benefits... He calls it companionship but from the way he shows me it's fwb. But now I don't wanT to be JUST fwb. I realized that I deserve better than that cause I'm already falling for him.... Now it hurts me to think that when the night is over I shouldn't be expecting for anymore. I want him to see me in a different way. I want him to respect me more and think of me as not only call... How do I change that? Or once it's happened I can never change the way he looks at me? How can I prove to him that I'm not only a call? I appreciate all the answers thank you.
